Yes, he was old and weight-drained because he had to make the weight limit for the division. PS. I don't even care anymore. These Bowe huggers and beyond reach. Anyone with a knowledge of boxing and a higher IQ than wet cardboard knows that Bowe was a mediocre fighter who happened to have Evander's number. Bowe is not and should not be in anyone's top 50 HW just for fighting ONE good guy in an entire career and losing two fights to Golota. Anyway - we all know this, but I also know that the Bowe huggers don't care about reality, because to them believing Bowe is a top HW is not about reality it is more like a religion. Either you 'believe' or you don't. You cannot reason your way to Bowe as a top HW, so you just have to believe. Bowe believers are far beyond reach - that is just the way it is.
You are right sir, beacuse beat ... ah... um .... actually, who the hell did he ever beat?! NOBODY! Bunch of C-level fighters. Usually when a GREAT fighter fights another great fighter when that one is at the end of his carrer, out of shape and unmotivated, he wins! But Vitali took this route: This content is protected :rofl Vitali is a fraud just like his brother. Bowe by TKO inside 6 rounds. :good:happy
The ability to stay in shape and train properly for a fight is a big part of being a great champion, that Bowe was unable to do this consistently puts him at a great disadvantage against someone as committed to the sport as Vitali is. He is mentally far inferior to Klitschko and that would play a role in the outcome. I can understand how you could think Bowe beats Vitali, but to say he would beat him easily is a real stretch, I couldn't see anyone having an easy night against him.
Providing that prime Vitali is better than prime Golota ( its hard to say how really good was prime Golota, because he lost all his big fights in the most stupid way), I cant see Bowe beating him. And dont say that 29yo Bowe was past his prime in the Golota fights. Maybe in 1st fight he was overweighed, but in the second he was in his best shape.
Vitali Klitchko I think is bigger stronger and faster Riddick Bowe I think is more durable and not that far behind in the departments that Vitali Klitchko has the advantages over him. Both are tall heavyweights with exlent outside games and very good inside ones as well. I think Bowe was slightly bitter. Klitchko's losses have been due to injury and bleeding too much. Bowe's loss came when his bout was inturped by FanMan. His "losses" to Golota were due to being repettly hit in the balls. I think theybare both big and strongenough to take eachother's power in the early rounds. When Klitchko got hit by Lewis we saw what happened. I think Klitchko will win rounds maby more than Bowe would but he will get hit and he will bleed. It gets stoped by the 8th. Winner Riddick Bowe by tko
V.K. kicks the ever lovin' **** outta Bowe in a time machine.......... V.K. is way bigger and stronger than a 1992 Holy and Jorge Gonzalez of 1995 had NO CLUE as to how to fight....... Them are really Bowe's BEST efforts right there........... Klit is way too good for Bowe......... MR.BILL
Bowe has two wins over Legend Evander Holyfield, as to where Vitali who I know you rate as a top 50 heavyweight he is basicly making a career off of his loss to lewis, now how the **** is that or should that be happening, his two biggest names on his resume both are losses he quit with Byrd and he lost to Lewis. Your right bowe did not have to make weight cus he is a heavyweight but look at the 2nd fight with Golota he took off a lot of weight fast and no matter what divison your in that will hurt you, so dont come here and act like you know boxing when you wont even own up to truths regarding the sport itself. like I said Bowes days left him after that third Holyfield fight, since that fight he was not the same..... weather it was eating habits or the punishment he took in those fights Bowe clearly was not the same....
This is what happens when Bowe had to fight an eastern euro fighter who would give a **** for Bowes "gangsta" image. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_k77s2Je9c&feature=related And spare me the crap how losing fat and actually being in shape "hurt" him that he got beat up in the rematch too. This joker with the "great jab" couldn't even connect his jab regularly on GOLOTA, while eating the shorter Golotas jab like popcorn. The same Golota who was blown out of the ring by a REALLY skilled big man in Lewis. But the "fan logic" is Bowe = gangsta = american = he would muuuuurder ze damn Klitschkos !!!!
I choose Bowe.Far greater range of punches and better offensive technique in his short prime. I can't really criticise Vitali for his loss to Lewis-as the fight was on relatively short notice. I'll say this though-chin or no chin- I would give his brother Wlad a better chance of beating a peak Lewis .Vitali ,to my mind, lacks his explosiveness.
