Donald was talking so much crap the entire promotion and did absolutely nothing in the fight. That was uncalled for by Bowe he shouldnt have hit him.

Nothing but I remember he kept ribbing Bowe and calling him names. Bowe finally got sick of it and punched him out. A similar thing went down with Bowe and Gonzalez after Gonzalez threw a water glass at Bowe.

Bowe could possibly beat Wladimir, but Riddick would be utterly dominated by Tony Tucker.

You damn well know a single well placed punch from any of those fighters would have Wlad on ***** street (and unlike Wlad, they can TAKE a well placed, hard punch as well). That's why you cannot even admit what would happen if such a punch connected, because you're afraid of the truth. That is what's truly laughable.

If Golota could destroy Bowe twice and make sure that he could never reproduce again, then I'm sure Wlad could as well.
Yeah I know Bowe was past his prime, just like Tyson against Douglas.

Honestly, the good portion of the prime of his career up until the end consisted of fights with Holyfield. His career after winning the title was sporatic and inconsistent with his undisciplined ways. He fought his way into the #1 spot without a promoter really, and won the title from Holyfield. Thats when his career really started going downhill, and his post title resume wasnt all that great, mainly due to him trying to get himself back together. As a contender he faced some pretty solid guys like Tillery, Biggs, Tubbs, Bert Cooper, Coetzer and Pinklon Thomas, pretty solid resume of styles in my opinion. Bowe came up in a weird transition period. The early 90's saw Tyson going to prison and a lot of the guys from the mid 80's finishing up their careers. His career was basically over when guys like Tua, Izon, Golota, Maskaev, Rahman and the guys that Lennox Lewis mainly fought were coming onto the scene. Holyfield at that point stood alone as the top dog. Lewis later confirmed he wasnt ready to be top dog yet by losing to Mcall.

Bowe-Wlad is a tough one to pick. Both of their offense match up very well with their opponents weaknesses.

Bowe was always vulnerable to quality jabbers. Wlad has a good jab. Bowe's defense has holes and pretty much everyone he fought had at least some success at landing on Bowe. Wlad's right hand has ATG power and combined with his jab would land often which would make it impossible for Bowe to win on the outside.

On the other hand, Wlad's vulnerabilities are his chin and inside fighting. Wlad's inside fighting simply consists of holding on. This has worked fine for him so far against the likes of Sam Peter, but Bowe is one of the greatest inside fighters of all time. Bowe on the inside against Wlad would wreak havoc.

This is a near impossible one to pick. IF I HAD to pick a winner, I'd side with Bowe because of durability but Wlad's right could send Bowe home.

With all that said Vlad would be the best heavy he ever fought with the exception of Holy. And Bowe was a bad match up for holy b/c of size. right???
