Prime Riddick Bowe would destroy new "Ring" champ Wladimir, and this is why!!

Bowe would be too aggressive and Wlad would go into a panic attack with this guy all over him not just standing back taking punishment. You can see that overhand right of Bowe nailing Wlad. It was not like Sam Peter flinging that ****.

 

Damn, I forgot that some heavy's use to actually can fight. lol

 

Bowe is beyond overrated. Maybe he would beat Wlad, but he would get Golota'd by Vitali in his prime and this time he won't be saved by the DQ.

 

i agree to a point but everyone says that people stand there and takes wlad's punishment and then name fighters who wouldn't. to be honest, i don't think anyone just stands there and takes the punishment: wlad controls the distance and offers such ring generalship he MAKES them stand there and take it.

Bowe is one of the most overrated HW's ever.

Bowe's entire legacy is based around the Holyfield trilogy and for what? A shitty outside game and alot of slugging? Undisciplined, dumb, crude...wow. Fantastic champion. Wlad trains almost everyday Bowe spent half his boxing life taking class a drugs and eating twinkees!

But you know what the main difference between Wlad and Bowe is? Wlad had flaws & made mistakes but he has improved. Bowe was never that good to begin with.

Let me be the first to say, even though it wasn't his game to be fleet of foot, yes, Riddick Bowe had MUCH better footwork than Wlad.

 

think he's rated just fine on esb. h2h a machine but in reality had an underwhelming title reign mostly due to lack of discipline. a great case of "what if" based on 4 or 5 fights.

Nah he get's overrated no doubt.

The 'what if" absolutly applies to Riddick.He get's treated like an ATG but overall his resume lacks.

 

To **** on and kill your whole argument.. each time Wlad was stopped or lost was b/c of wide overhand rights. :rofl Same with his display of running behind the referee in the Peter fight. So what was your point again? The point is that is Wlads weakness an overly aggressive crudish type fighter who actually is effective at that style. Also one that can fight on the inside. Wlad has good foot positioning to get into his stance but that is it. He is not quick in the ring and he just pulls back with little to NO upper body movement when he is attacked(thus the reason he was stopped twice b/c of his lack of ability to bob or weave under attack). You ****ing ******s will always be hilarious.

Bowe's resume is total crap, and his 2 wins vs Holy (one fight Holy was sick), makes him an ATG H2H. Ridiculous. Bowe is about as overrated as Pryor, Pryor is a little worse. He was "shot" when Golota beat the crap out him, nah, pure bull****, he got his ass kicked.
