Bowe unlike Rahman:lol:, proved he wasnt a flash in the pan. Wlad is dominating a very weak division, another reason Im sure you havent watched boxing very long. The fact that he lost fairly closely to the last dregs of the weak mid 90's division tells you how bad the current crop is, and yes, his past accomplishments, losses will always be a big factor in determing his legacy.

Lewis would have raped Bowe, there's a good reason Bowe and Fraud Newman threw the belt in the bin.

What did I tell you about clicking the X!

    Thanks...

He weighed 252 for the first Golota fight...12 pounds higher than the last fight with Evander. AND, if you do your research you will see his mental state was nowhere NEAR prime anymore. And it was 8 months later...and yes, your career and physical, as well as mental state can deteriorate in that time...faster in fact.

My god biased people crack me up. Go do some research.

So let me get this right:

The Bowe/Holyfield trilogy proves Bowe is a god amongst HW boxers and the ATG Wladimir is not yet the fight the OP used to illustrate this point happens against a limited amount to nothing boxer a mere 5 months before the 3rd Holyfield fight where Holyfield who is still in his prime is KO'd by Bowe and yet just 8 months later Bowe suddenly becomes washed up and loses to Golota.

That's correct yes? Thats the logic the Bowe fan club are using nowadays right?

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!! Oh my! Oh my my my! That's some Einstein-esque mental skill sets on display there! Geniuses! every one of them! :thumbsup

Nope. Just last year. I have career collections of Holyfield, Tyson, Lewis, Ali, Foreman, Louis, Marciano, Holmes, Spinks, Leonard, Duran, Hagler, Hearns, Pryor, Arguello, Sanchez, JCC, Whitaker, De La Hoya, Trinidad, Mosley, Mayweather, ect... that I never even watch. Had some of them for years... yet I never got into boxing much. I have been on this site sine 2003... re-signed up in 2004 after the crash... but still was just talking out of my ass. Who is Wladimir Klitschko anyways? I only remember him for being the man to knock out Cody Koch who turned up dead under suspicious circumstances a short time afterwards.

Do they wear gloves on their hands when they "box"? What for?

Actually i never took the stance in he was "prime".I am however stating that he was not "shot".

And yes i am aware of his weight for the fight. He overlooked Golota and thought he didnt have to train hard.He however know exactly what to expect for the second fight came in lighter with the same result.

The way Golota turned out is why people excuse Bowe getting destroyed by him. When all things are considered Golota was a Bronze medalist and possesed a good all around package.Eastern Euro's get a bad rap for being robotic but a prime Andrew was anything but that.

Gonzalez before he got ruined by Bowe would have probably beaten Wlad. At least Gonzalez had a mean streak.

Bowe was showing the signs of a shot fighter in the third Holy fight. He was hurt badly by a fairly weak hook. By the Golota fights, his conditioning and massive weight swings had caught up to him, thats why he RETIRED. Watch the HBO Legendary NIghts on BOwe GOlota they break down as clear as day by interviewing doctors and comparing his speech patterns and reaction times. Quite an interesting piece.

As I said in my previous post Wlad HAS improved considerably. If you knock a guy who constantly improves and keeps beating everyone put in front of him you're parrying the comparison between these two away rather than looking at it logically.

But since you're brushing over my earlier end of discussion proven point i
ll re quote myself so people don't have to trawl through the thread.

So let me get this right:

Bowe was in an era when other than Holyfield... the supposed "top dogs" in the division didn't even fight each other. Bowe never even fought the other best guys in the division. He didn't fight Tyson... he didn't fight Lewis (embarrassed himself and his name forever with that duck)... he didn't fight Michael Moorer.... he didn't even fight old Foreman who was beating the fighters in that era... which was ALSO considered weak at the time.

Evander Holyfield was the only man in that era with enough balls to fight all of the top fighters.

So a shot fighter beat a Holyfield who went onto beat Tyson twice and give prime Lewis a run for his money in their rematch?

    Think about it................
