Canelo has always been a large LMW, you think FMJ is hanging with Canelo at 160lb? I don't.
I'm a massive GGG fan, I still have him P4P number 1, but DJ beat him that night for me, I had him 1 up. But, seeing as how DJ cheated the scales to gain a clear weight advantage, I'm not giving him that victory out of principle. GGG lost to a LHW that night, not a MW. If GGG and DJ weighed roughly the same during the fight, GGG would no doubt knock him the hell out. Back to tonight's fight, Loma was 7lb up at breakfast, by fight time I'd imagine he's close to 140lbs, with Rigo at 130lb. Rigo whi's not even a natural 130lber tried his best but coulnd't beat a P4P star with too much against him. If Loma and Rigo, weighed the same, like 1-2lbs, I stick to my earlier prediction of Rigo beating him at 126lbs.

Loma was 136 in the ring all the way back to Saildo, and never weighed over 138. His real fighting weight hasnt changed much since turning pro, he would always have 5 to 7 pounds on Rigo.

I have a feeling that Loma would be a stylistic problem for Rigo at whatever age. He's also bigger, and that compounds the problem.

Just wondering. Have you exercised your whole life? If that's a yes, then I wonder if you have had periods where you pushed your body to the max for an extended time?

    51 isn't THAT old.

What they fail to realize is Loma was coming in at this weight his whole career, he was always a little heavier than Rigo.

The contracted weight was a matter of business nothing more.

Rigo is a small 122lber. This fight was to see if Rigo could move up in weight and beat another P4P star. The Rigo I saw tonight would beat plenty of guys at 130lbs, he's not beating a Lomachenko. Could Loma, the P4P number 1 in plenty of people's eyes jump up two weight classes and beat another P4P star in Crawford? I think after tonight, we have our answer.

At 126, we are still looking at a 130 Rigo vs 136 to 137 Loma. So i dont see the point.

A junior welterweight fight with Crawford would be a 4 division jump from where Loma began.

    Crawford weighs about 153.
    Loma weighs 137.

So thats a 16 pound difference at present.

Huh! There's posters going on like Loma is the greatest fighter in history, FMJ, Manny, Duran, etc... moved up more divisions than just four and beat some P4P top 5 guys whilst doing so, why can't Loma? Manny is only 5'5 inches for example, and prime Manny would give current 140lb Crawford a massive test. Prime Loma, not so much!?!

Well I think a prime version wouldn't be made because prime Rigo is a SBW fighter and this is two weight classes higher.

That being said the trouble Loma gave Rigo on the inside makes me believe he'd always have a chance of beating him.

Getting inside Rigo is nigh on impossible, Loma managed it consistently.

I dont have any interest in Loma vs Crawford right now. I would rather see Loma vs Garcia.

I think Crawford will move to Welter and settle there.

I doubt we will ever see Loma vs Crawford, and I dont really care.

Prime Rigo would always be before his loss to Loma. Catch 22.
