Prime rigo was something. Literally avoided by everyone and the 1 elite fighter who stepped up got thoroughly schooled

Inoue. He already proved he can win a fast-paced chess match, while Loma already proved Rigo can be beaten with skill. How much more with Naoya's chin, one-punch KO power, accuracy, timing, pride, killer instinct, heart. Rigo would likely quit again.

Rigo would be a problem but you have to be blind to pretend Loma didnt school him badly. Jesus, Loma made dude quit.

I wonder if Inoue couldve got up on him in a similar manner...

Rigo is not afraid to look bad and run away and Inoue will be frustrated. It'll probably be the same as Rigo - Casimero but Inoue looking better.

This would be the hardest fight of Inoue’s career, but I back him to get the job done inside the distance. Rigo was a special boxer but he got taken to school by Loma. Inoue is also one of the most skilled boxers today and I think he would have caught up to Rigo and broken him down.

Rigo did way better against Donaire. Inoue won't have the footwork and speed advantage in this fight. Haven't seen Inoue's ceiling though, so difficult to tell.

The size difference between him and Loma was ginormous. I know Inoue also rehydrates quite a lot but Inoue isn't quite as big, nor does he bring the same volume of offense.

50/50. Inoue has problems with southpaws.

He made Nicholas walters quit as well.Axe-man sparked Donito clean at 130 lbs.Loma made Walters look med.I dunno Rigo is not easy and inoue hasn’t fought anybody close to Rigo ability. At this pt i got Rigo via UD.

Rigo lost to Lomachenko but only when in his 40s and moving up a weight class.

Prime Rigo was a different beast.

    Still, I favour Inoue here.

Inoue hasn't beaten anyone on Rigo's level, but then Rigo too has never faced anyone as dangerous as Inoue. Pick em fight that would have the experts divided.

I'm leaning towards Inoue, but it might take more than one fight to pick a definitive winner.

Loma was massive compared to Rigondeaux. This fight was always a mismatch, he was way too big

I know boxing “logic” doesn’t always work -

    - but it’s worth considering that Rigo completely schooled a prime Donaire, and Inoue went life and death with an older Donaire several years later (but during a career resurgence). Yes he stopped him brutally in the rematch, but I think it’s safe to say Donaire is at the end in that one…..
