roy was one of the few SMWs who might stop froch. but insde 4 is too much even on a blinder day for roy and carls worst day.

 

But that's the thing with Froch; it's what goes against his warrior reputation. He's not a run-you-down fighter.

Look what happened against Groves the other night. For half the fight he wouldn't even close Groves down. And against Ward, did he go balls to the wind and run at him to get a win?

I think he'd get picked off all night against Jones, and lose a wide decision, if not a complete shutout. But I think if Jones was really buzzing him, he'd stay his distance as well.

You might be right though. He could stop him as well. I wouldn't rule it out. But not by round 3. If he caught him cold in the opening rounds, I think it'd be cumulative damage from there that stopped him. Not one big shot or finish. So maybe a later round stoppage.
