Hey what about Pavlik vs. George Foreman in his prime at a catch weight????? WTF??????? He's had two big wins in a few months time. For gods sake calm down!!!!!!
For the record, Jones is ALL WRONG for Pavlik. Sure someone will come in with the glass chin crap and say Pavlik would catch and KO Jones. One, Jones never was remotely hurt at 160 or 168. Two, someone will say he was never hit flush.....well, he wouldn't be hit flush by Pavlik either, who doesn't possess the handspeed or the unpredictablility currently to land on Jones. His footspeed would baffle Pavlik and his power was immense at 160, probably equal to Pavlik's though admittedly, a different kind of power. He would also hit Pavlik from angles he never saw coming. Throw in Jones accuracy and Pavlik is done in 5 or less. Pavlik's strenghs would be his size and jab, but hitting Jones with a jab is like trying to catch a fly and chopsticks, and he ins't Daniel son... Pavlik has great potential...so lets see what he does. Also, for the record, Jones stops Taylor in less than 5 as well.
Please can you explain to me what part of the thread is hyping up Pavlik, i must be missimg something :huh
Will the person who picked Pavlik please give a detailed explanation of how Pavlik stops Jones.... Doesn't even have to be detailed. Tell us ONE attribute Pavlik of last night possesses over the 160 version of Roy Jones Jr.
And vice versa.... Yes, Miranda probably hit as hard as Jones. But he certainly wasn't anywhere near the puncher due to poor technique.
I need it explained to me how Pavlik wins this fight. Someone just explain it to me. Give me a fight breakdown, because I'm confused.
Jones by KTFO. He's the type of fighter that would KO Pavlik in the sense that he can put together combinations of punches coming at all angles, downstairs up stairs, and with speed & power.
