    It would have been interesting. Even though Ruiz wasn't much , the way Roy spanked him proved that he would have been competitive against Lewis. Too bad Roy had no intention whatsoever of fighting Lewis. It still aggrevates me when Jones says he was the "heavyweight champion of the world", just because he beat a plodding , unimaginative Ruiz. As if that feat put him in the same company of Johnson, Dempsey, Louis, Marciano and Ali.

    Not only would Jones have lost to Lewis, but there would have been a very real possibility of him getting seriously hurt. Jones himself knows this.
