shows you know nothing about boxing, because Calzaghe was in his prime when he fought Lacy, which was a couple of years ago. Pay attention and learn what you're talking about.

Jones was KOing people with single shots. He was dropping guys at middleweight with either hand and laying them out. He one punch starched numerous fighters.

And Calzaghe was a pretty hard puncher when he first came through, difference being that even then he was stopping guys with an accumulation of shots and really you only need to look at videos of the respective men to see the difference.

Look at how many straight KO wins the two guys have. JC has one. RJJ has 12. And regardless of that just look at what he was doing at Middle and Super Middle, any shot, one time and people were being dropped heavily.

Roy would win. For one, if Calzaghe stuck his face in front of Jones with his hands down back then, he'd be hit 4-5 times before he knew WTF was going on. WHile Joe looked very good, this fight said so much more about Jones. Time to retire, Jones isn't beating any top LtHW ever again. And already hasn't in years.

:patsch but the whole boxing world was talking about it and til this day they are. and that was Ruiz near his prime. Come on now, learning boxing before you speak man. If he was $hit, he wouldnt have had a title.

His prime is when he fought Lacy. He couldnt KO Lacy. Therefore, he was a smart puncher with decent power. Get your facts straight.

I think we'll have to agree to disgree. Anyway in his Prime RJJ is the best fighter I've ever seen, but I just think hes not as big a puncher as everyone makes out.:good

I mean, the only guy he couldnt KO at SMW was Toney, and Toney is a guy who has one of the toughest chins EVER, we're talking Hagler & Margarito chins. You just gotta watch his MW fights, he was laying guys out on their backs with 1 punch.

Sounds like Joes last two fights. Another case of him generating big reward for minimal risk.
