    Hahaha... excuse me?!

When Jones did throw he landed a good amount of shots on Joe. However Jones threw **** all, so please dont confuse a lack of output for a strong defence.

Roy Jones 8 rounds to 4.

Calzaghe gives him his toughest and most uncomfortable fight by not allowing him to pose.

With Jones' full physical capabilities he wins on a higher volume of clean punches than he achieved last night and far fewer taken. It seems like a massive thing to overturn looking at last night, but he really was that good.

Joe would be younger as well. There is no way RJJ would win every round. Joe is a better fighter than Toney and would have been competitive. BUT, it had to be a "time machine" fight. When Joe was at his peak at 168 (his prime weight class) Roy was already a dominant Light Heavyweight champion.

    INNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNT! Your answer is void.
Joe was at his peak when he fought Lacy. At that time, what was Jones doing, basically enjoying retirement. Please dont post in this thread if you dont know about both men in their PEAKS.

I've always seen this fight as closer than many think. Jones would start favourite but it certainly wouldn't be a walk in the park.

I see it about 60-40 in Jones favour.

I'd reckon the most likely outcome would be Jones taking an early lead in the fight with Joe taking the later rounds. Perhaps 7-5 either way or 6-6. Jones is more likely to score a KD than Joe is and that might be enough to swing a close fight.

Because he's shot to the 10th power. But you still havent explained why prime Joe beats prime Roy

:rofl Please go watch some old Roy footage. For the love of god. You think Calzaghe could have stuck his chin out against a prime Roy and not get dropped a dozen times?

He is close to Jones in age. he would obviously be close if matched up in their primes. Joe would embarass Jones in a prime matchup. Jones was always fought by guys that were too impressed by his reputation. You cannot fight anyone like that and expect anything other than a loss. Joe would pressure him and Jones would not be able to handle it. this is all hypothetical and we will never know. it is also a fact. Jones would have lost to Calzaghe. no other outcome possible
