prime roy jones vs prime joe calzaghe(U HAVE SUPERPOWERS?)

Before Joe hurt his hands, I think he and Roy would have been a spectacular fight. I could see a close but comfortable win for Roy. 116-112, something along those lines.

I love how people act like Joe was a slouch early in his career and entered his prime when he beat Lacy.

 

You need to watch some boxing. If you think Joe C is tremendous you are either a complete nuthugging idiot or you're Joe's momma. Look at his KO/TKO list and see if you recognize any of the names. LMFAO.

Yes Jones has a better resume but it is not by much. Jones resume is garbage for the way he and his nuthuggers talk.

Remember Prime Calzaghe did not have all of the hand issues, Roy had problems with Southpaws in his career he was knocked down by Lou De Valle and knocked cold by Tarver. If Prime Calzaghe sat down on his punches he would have a shot at shattering Roy's Glass Jaw.

I don't buy into all this Roy was unbeatable crap the guy avoided just about anyone with a pulse in his Prime to fight meaningless Mandatory fights and handpicked optional fights against no hopers.

Calzaghe has a much better chance than many people think.

Roy was down 76-75 on one scorecard and only ahead by one point on one card and two on the other. How is Griffin getting his ass kicked? For sure even a nuthugger like you can realize this.

 

Nah . . . that's not hate . . . if you're a deep real boxing fan . . . you should realize that a prime RJJ would beat any version of JC.

Have you seen the fight? It certainly doesn't seem like you have. If you had, you would know why the other guy said Jones was kicking his ass even though the scorecards were close. I'm not going to explain it for you, hit Youtube and see if you can see it for yourself.

 

It pains me to see another Bhoy defending Calzaghe, given the current topic of the discussion. Whether it emanates respect or class I don't know, but speaking objectively as a fan and scholar of boxing, his resume is weak. Not decent, not pretty good, but weak. As far as I understand it, to hold a strong opinion about something such as this in the sport you love is not crude or vulgar or disrespectful. But Hail Hail anyway! Here's to Saturday! :happy
