Walkover for Jones, only question is does he go to KO Calzaghe or cruise to an easy points win.

Not a close fight in my opinion. Jones by stoppage late.

After putting him down in the first, he would have finished the job.

Well 168 isn't a stacked division (like Middleweight or Light Heavy), So it wouldn't be too far-fetched to make that claim.

He's not knocking out Joe. No chance. Decision win. 8-4ish on the cards.

well I think rjj wins by SD

how would rjj cope with a volume puncher who is south paw? and dont forget how well Calzaghe adapts.

I dont really think this matters but Calzaghe was a decent puncher before all his hand problems too:smoke:scaredas:

He would cope by avoiding Joe's arm punches via having reflexes only seen in video games.

Joe would literally not know what to do.

I'm surprised by how many think Calzaghe would get ko'd. I agree Joe would get out classed though. He wasn't beyond being ineffective with his flurries and attacks, as the Hopkins fight showed, he only just won that in my estimation. Its a shame Jones carried on, he should have retired after moving up to heavyweight.

Neither of them were prime in their 2008 meeting.. But at their best, Jones was superior and would have probably won by late stoppage or decision. This isn't anything against Calzaghe who I happen to have great admiration for. But Roy was just an animal when in his prime.
