Jones by decision. Calzaghe pulls off an upset and beats him on the dancefloor though.

considering calzaghe was scared shitless of jones in the day, and would have been bricking it on the way to the ring. only calzaghes pride would have kept him in the fight, he would not match jones for skills or educated pressure only fitness which would not win it for him. physically prime calzaghe didn't have confidence or believe in his abilities where prime jones was like an unstoppable force. i cannot see how calzaghe would have won.

Jones to whup him like he did Woods, yes he would hang in with that chin maybe an extra round or so.

RJJ wasnt prime against Woods, gone by a bit, not the fighters he fought before i mean, of course still strong and then regarded as P4P.

When was Cals peak / prime ?

    Pre Manfredo or post ?

    Tell me

i suppose confidence wise it would be post manfredo, but even then it was too late in the game to take a prime rjj imo. he did seem to improve with age though and could never be totally ruled out but i stand by my other post
