Jones only had one fight at heavyweight and that was against Ruiz, more or less a hand-picked opponent with a modest KO percentage.

I think people underestimate Wilder's speed. Jones may still have a bit of a speed advantage but not to the same degree he had against Ruiz. Wilder is also heavier-handed than Ruiz by far and it's obvious in the height-reach department there's a big difference too.

I can't comment on if he is a troll or not, and yes Jones' stay at HW raised more questions than answers, but I don't think the Green KO is too relevant, that was a much different Jones.

I can't help but wonder what young Roy would have been in today's social media... 28 wins, 24, knockouts, dominant over Toney.


He would be hyped even more.. and for good reason... He was truly a great talent.. I don't think we have seen anyone close yet to how Roy fought...

 

I think Jones would be a social media superstar. Trending, Vines etc. I think it would be crazy.
