It would be a great fight. Roy would have to fight mistake free and stay off the ropes. If he took a fraction of the punishment his much sturdier protege took he'd be out cold.

Who the hell says that Kov would have been landing on him?

You must have missed the fight last night, where Jean Pascal caught him flush, both easily and often.

Anyway, there's already a thread, but the TS is obviously a blind simpleton.

Rather be a simpleton than a blind groupie wich is what you are.

You only post on this site in Roy related threads deffending his ass like hes a member of your family , i knew your nerdy ass would be here sooner or later, to tell us stories of that mythical god that was "Prime Roy Jones"

Pascal landed a few but lets not get ahead and make out that it was constant. Most rounds Kovalev won. I only gave Pascal one round.
I think Kovalev would have been landing and although I dont think Pascal and Jones are the same fighter or even similar, It showed Kovalev can handle speed and awkwardness. Remember how you noted a trainer as part of the reason Jones had problems with Griffin, but dont note how Kovalev was able to get Pascal out of there when Jones was working with Pascal

Did you even read the thread or do you have selective reading? theres ppl on this thread claiming Kovalev wouldnt land a punch on Jones.

Dont see how that is comparable to Roy Lunatics cliaming he would beat anyone from 160to 175.

If you think thats the same thing then you clearly dont have a clue about what you're talking abou, but i already suspected that much.

Some ppl dont know **** about the history of the sport, no one who has some decent knowledge of boxing history thinks Roy Jones is the best LHW of all time, the only ones that that are the clueless Roy Groupies who see him beating cops, sanitation workers etc and think hes the greatest boxer to ever lace them up but its easy to look great when you're a rabbit going up against a bunch of turtles.

As for those who think he would beat Kovalev i have no problem with that.

At the time of you posting this thread, the other one already contained 20 pages.

    A blind groupie?

Jean Pascal hit Kov 6 times with wild swings, yet Roy would have been taken out in 5 rounds?

    :patsch

If you want to get laughed at some more, post your sh*t on the relevant thread.

    You're so transparent.

The opening line of your post - 'Big fan of Roy here'

    Yeah, we all believe you.

What you've wrote is completely irrelevant to what I've wrote.

The facts are, Kov is easy enough to hit, and Roy's offense in his 90's prime, was second to none. Which means that Roy would have easily tagged Kov with repeated power shots.

If you want to discuss it further, go on to the other thread.

    I'm done on here.

It depends if Jones was juicing. It must be remembered that a lot of his greatness was synthetic.

Yes you're a blind groupie that gets nutthurt whenever someone questions Roy Jones the guy whose babies you want to have.

Pascal hit Kovalev 5 or six times cause he took the risk Reluctant Roy wouldnt take the risk , Hell light hitting Eric Harding got him shook and afraid to lead cuase he was scared of getting countered by Harding :rofl:roflImagine how scared he would be against kovalev.

Now go shine some shoes and lick some windows, you know nothing about the sport you're just a groupie of one boxer, keep pretending that you're relevant when all you're known around here is for being a **** rider of one guy that happens to be a boxer.

    Next :bbb
