Honest question. Do you Brit's actually think Joe beats a prime Roy or are you all just trolling?

Roy went far with his style, but Calzaghe would have solved that puzzle just like Tarver did.

I apologize on behalf of my fellow deluded countrymen, who honestly think Calzaghe would beat RJJ in his prime. The nationalism is hard to avoid at times.

The Jones that beat Toney beats Calzaghe round after round and probably stops him

    Haha!

    Holy f**k!

I've just got home from work, and I've nearly spat out my tea.

    I wasn't expecting that.

I'm assuming these are the leaked shots from his bit on the side that were doing the rounds?

    Ha!

I'll wait until my girlfriend's asleep tonight, then take the ipad into the bathroom.

    :rofl

    How?

Roy was superior in almost every department.

Of course you can argue it. Both Calzaghe and Jones were still with skills when they fought.

    Stamina - Joe
    Chin - Joe
Footwork - Joe, as shown when they fought
Hand speed - Roy (single punches) Combinations Calzaghe
    Reflexes - even
Timing - Calzaghe who timed Roy throughout
Defence - Tell me whos been KOd and beaten and who hasnt?
    Shot variation - Calzaghe
Power - Debateable when Calzaghe didnt have damaged hands, maybe slightly to Roy
Accuracy - Possibly Roy, but Calzaghe throws enough to counter that and accuracy is only good if throwing shots, not being forced into a shell

Calzaghe, same result then as to when they did fight

Every boxing fan, including Joe fans, if not being bias. Would say Roy would of beat him.

Other than freakish speed and athleticism, what skills did Roy have? We saw what happened when his reflexes faded.

What does joe have without his freakish stamina and elite hand speed?
