Please don't ever have kids. We don't need this type of stupidity in the gene pool.

Chris Tyrd - 165 lb. Silver medalist (not too small)
James Toney - former MW world champion (not too small)
Joe Frazier - HEAVYWEIGHT Gold medalist and undisputed HW world champion (too small)

I'm guessing you meant Chris "Byrd"? You probably just hit the wrong key. But just so you'll know "Byrd" never fought Peter.

Frazier would stop Peter within 8 of a one-sided fight. And that's not a rose-tinted view, that's the realisation that Sam Peter doesn't have the know how, reflexes or speed of hand to have any chance of beating Smokin' Joe.

It's Preposterous to say he would.

It surprises me that anyone would genuinely pick peter.

Who is peter's best victory again? Toney rematch? Maskaev?

    Frazier beat ali.

Peter would have to trade because he's too slow and lethargic to outbox joe. If he trades with joe, he loses. It took wlad a long time to knock out peter and only helenius has repeated the feat. Joe might stop him late in the fight at he's going to consistently beat him to the punch and most likely take a wide points win.

Frazier beat Ali 1 out of 3. And got beaten to a pulp 2x by Foreman in terrible mismatches. Styles make fights. Frazier was able to give Ali good fights because his technical style was tailor made for Frazier. Not so Foreman's caveman style.

In a toe-to-toe slugfest a chinny Frazier will *ALWAYS* look bad. Frazier doesn't have the chin to stand in front of a 250 lbs modern heavyweight and take their bombs.

Peter had the chin to take Wlad's bombs and he would take Frazier's CW level bombs with ease. Frazier wouldn't be able to withstand Peter's clubbing punches. Frazier would drop to the floor on every big hand Peter would land. Yes, Peter would miss a lot but every once in a while he'd land big and it'd be a knockdown every time.

Yeah but Peter is bigger right? And now fighters have modern vitamins and training methods like hitting a tire with a sledge hammer. In the seventies no one was smart enough to use a sledge hammer in the gym. They though it was just a tool for breaking concrete.
