    I think 2005-08 Peter would've smashed Wilder.

The Peter that dropped Wlad 3 times would wreck Wilder.

Peter sleighs burger squad at boxing and buffet contest. The real match is Nichols vs Peter at both boxing and buffet. Unparalleled check jabs and eating prowess

According to 80% of this board, just about every fighter in history would be a bad matchup for Wilder. And some non fighters as well. Give the man a chance for God's sake.

I mean I know you guys want to see Klitschko and Povetkin dominate until they are 80 but damn. Give it a rest.

Prime Sam Peter was a hell of a fighter, probably in the top10 of the last decade. Nothing wrong with picking him over Wilder.

Peter was like a rhino. Big, slow until roused, immensely powerful and good at going in one direction (straight at his opponent). He was never meant to be taught boxing strategy - he just needed to SMASH.

Then he got a coach that thought it a good idea to teach him how to box, thus overwriting a simple dominant purpose and introducing confusion into Sam's limited brain. That was ultimately his undoing.

Prime Peter would mow Wilder down and most likely do it in a highlight reel fashion.

Top 10 of one of the weakest decades in boxing history the 2000's. He's decent, but that still doesn't mean he's a lock to murder Wilder. He never had Wilder's height, reach, or speed. HE was easy to hit as well. I see no reason he'd be a lock to beat Wilder. He actually was similar to Stiverne physically.
