    I'm going with Norton.

Satterfield had a good punch and decent boxing skills, but he wasn't a George Foreman or Muhammad Ali in either of those departments. Satterfield also came from a batch of fighters who were generally quite a bit smaller, and needless to say, he was beaten by a fair amount of mediocrities.

I think Norton edges him the whole fight by keeping Bob well crowded and landing good solid shots where he could. Sure, Satterfield could sting him from time to time, but I just don't see him as having anywhere near the devastating effect that Foreman or Shavers had.

Norton by stoppage mid to late rounds.

Norton early-mid rounds stoppage in a domination, too big, too skilled, too consistent, I love Satterfield but he is too inconsistent and beatable

Heavyweights with 30+ matches against curently ranked oponents can be expected to be inconsistent unless their surname happens to be Barrows or Clay.

Bob doesn`t need physical strenght here to get Norton on the backfoot, he only needs to come out winging for the fences and put Norton on the defensive from the opening bell. Norton`s foot in the bucket style is not very effective if he has to go backwards, and if you have a KO puncher like Bob coming at you looking to knock your head off with every punch you know Norton who was conscious of his iffy chin would have been put under considerable psychological pressure in such a situation. Sure, all it takes is one real good clip on the jaw from Norton to turn the tide, but my guess is Bob comes out firing on all cylinders and nails Norton early and takes him out in the first or second round.

Raging makes an interesting case but I like Norton although the way he folded to the vastly inferior Shavers makes me give Satterfield a shot ...

I still favour Norton even with the very convincing arguements people have here for a Satterfield win.

Bob for all his good wins, still lost to some pretty average names. Maybe so did Norton with that early ko loss but I think he was the better boxer here and a decent puncher himself.

Norton had some average qualities but overall was far from it.

I lean towards Satterfield early. But Norton could hit himself and Satterfield didn't exactly possess a great chin...
