Prime Harrison v Current Arthur At a catchweight between FW and SFW (not much in it on first viewing, but each pound makes a difference).:deal All-Scottish battle.:good Intriguing clash of styles.:think Who wins and how?:hey
Harrison late stoppage. He had an emmense engine did old Scotty & he would wear Arthur down & stop him. Arthur would look good at the beginning tagging Scott with some eye catching shots but Harrison had a great chin & would absorb the shots then start to get closer & bully Alex on the inside. By the 9th Scott would be in complete control & a tired, battered Alex would be saved by the ref not long after.
it's strange i just noticed that i havnt seen harrison fight. wiered. im a pretty decent brit boxing fan but noticed never seen him fight. may be diverting the subject but does anyone have any footage of him?
Harrison mid round KO. elusive guys gave him trouble, and Arthur is not tricky enough. Otherwise he just pummeled them, I always thought he would give even the truly elite guys around his weight trouble if they stood toe to toe with him. man, there was a time when some good judges like Maloney thought Scotty would've beat Lennox Lewis.
Scott 10th bout was a great performance against Tracy Harris Paterson and it was a coming of age win for him. He used to be a decent boxer back in his early days and once he realised his chin was a rock and his strength was way up there he neglected his skills a bit and became more of a brawler.
McCullogh should have retired after than, never mind now. Also that was more worthy of a stoppage than the 2nd Larios bout for me, he should have been pulled out. Harrison was a top 5 Feather at his best, he struggled with slicksters and wily old foxes like Medina and Polo...I don't think Arthur is anything like slick enough... Ill go for Harrison by late stoppage.
He was supremely shot by then. The victory was fairly hollow and meaningless. All he did was beat up an old man.
After a few hours? Not sure about that :good Harrison around 6-7 with a brain scrambling KD to banjo Arthur completely.
