Yep you're correct about ZM and Terrence. You watch the Joe Rogan podcasts at all?

And yeah, Burns vs Harrison.... I'd still watch now, Harrison would probably get his ass handed to him but it would still be a big fight in Jockland. I'd watch it.

Well it wouldn't be the first time a great fighter has fought on past his best and it wouldn't be the last.

Both Ricky and Scott are coming off bad results albeit it different level, but i'm sure both have more to give.

The thing is Ricky's promoter is talking about him fighting the likes of Crolla next, but what you have to remember is Crolla has lost 5 times at domestic level, whereas Scott has only lost once in a close fight and that was after seven years out and with only 3 weeks notice.

While I see your point I think it's a poor argument to say he's only lost once to domestic level, he's only fought once at domestic level since he's returned so he couldn't have possibly lost more than once.

I actually think Crolla/Harrison would be good,if he could have a warm up.Not bothered about him against Ricky, but can see why it would be very interesting if you're from Glasgow.

I think if scott did fight burns 70% of the people in the secc would be Harrison fans

    Good post mate

One of Harrison's main traits is his sheer stubbornness, it is a quality that made him champion and one that contributed to the downfall. There's a story when he was in the nick in Spain and the screws tied him to a chair and beat the **** him with truncheons, saying to him " who's the boss" in Spanish and he kept saying
to them in a Spanish accent " I don't speak Spanish". They kept beating him up until they got tired and gave up. That story sums him up hard as ****.

Would it not be standard grades Ricky done? O levels were stopped years ago.

I think your assessments wrong Billy, o levels finished when Ricky was about 10, so unless he's an educational genius and got these 7 o levels at 10 he hasn't got them.

See if you had never seen Burns fight, and all you had read is BN posts, you would think Burns was a cross between Leonard and Duran.

You'd think the guy was a total scumbag the way people go on about him on here, there's having an opinion about a sensible boxing discussion talking about Burns ability that's fair enough but then you've got posters who feel the need to insult the guy without ever evening meeting him.

I was at the Polo fight and it wasn't a complete farce. After 10 rounds i had Polo up by one round. Scott won the 11th and you could give the 12th either way, but no way was the result a farce. I have seen a lot worse!
Polo was a slick southpaw who boxed well, but he never dominated or ripped that title away from Scot that night, so it wasn't a farce.
The champ kept his title that night :deal
