I can't for the life of me ever seeing SM competing in a relatively competitive fight with a talent like canelo.

I think a prime SM gets handled the same way as past it got annihilated by cotto.. in my eyes , SM was the over rated fighter of the modern Era.

just not very good where you have to be to have a chance at winning a round or 2 from a canelo.

mid round stoppage, after a few too many kd'so

so, you're saying SM loses, just like Lara ??? I also see Lara as the better fighter compared to SM and him, his his prime lost to canelo

the schooling would be worse than mayweather's with the possibility of a KO/tko/retirement as Sergio had power and skill

Prime Sergio on points in a close one, he's a mover and I think the angles would give Canelo problems.

That said, we still haven't seen the best of Canelo and he's improving all the time.

Sergio wins in everyone's eyes but loses on the cards, I doubt he stops the cinnamon boy

    Sexy Sergio by late TKO
Canelo would feel like he was walking in mud based on the movements and unique angles from Sergio.

Canelo wouldn't get in on him . His legs are too slow and his feet are too flat.

Martinez had far superior endurance , movement and activity . He'd run rings around Canelo and bust him up from the outside with a 3 inch reach advantage .
I couldn't see Canelo beating Pavlik , never mind Sergio.

Martinez... Would look similar to Lara vs Canelo but Martinez gets hit a bit more, but doesn't go backwards as much and lands/throws more punches himself than lara did... This would save him of the potential robbery Lara experienced. Martinez wins at least 8 - 10 rounds. The rounds are not land slide wins though.
