You just have to watch GGG-Proksa to know how this match would play out

Martinez Close UD or by Late KO.

Martinez was slick but got hit at a high precentage, luckily he had a Great chin. No one knows much about GG's chin, he took Stevens power which i guess means it's decent.

Martinez was no Prozka, Sergio had 1 punch KO power.

Stylistically Martinez could be GG's worst nightmare. Golovkin likes to keep the fight at a distance, Martinez is Great at fighting both inside and outside!.. and Martinez can come in and out at will with fast footwork.

70/30 in favor of Martinez. Golovkin is still green though

    Definitely Proska KO's prime Martinez.

Proska is like the slicker version of Martinez with more power, speed, heart and chin. Great insight!

I'm not a huge GGG fan but I think he takes this.

    1) Martinez is a southpaw and weapon of choice against a southpaw...the straight right. Which is of course GGG's honey (money?) punch.
    2) Sergio's hands down reactionary style of defense flowing to offense. It's great when it works but GGG has enough power to make that a bad idea.

I think Martinez goes the distance, wins the early rounds but gets put on his trunks a couple of times and loses a UD.

Martinez went to war with Paul Williams. He's too soft to tangle with GGG.

Unless he one shotters him outta there , which is possible as im not sold GGG has an iron beard.

GGG cuts the ring off great, but boy how thick are some fans, did all of you forget how prime Sergio boxed, he had great movement(much better than anyone GGG beat) i would favor GGG but people here act like GGG beat anyone even close to Setgios class...Sergio was a lot faster than GGG and faster than anyone GGG faced it would be very good fight.

Ring cutter offer's were Sergio's weakness. Pavlik dropped him when he got desperate.

Glovkin's best quality is making the ring the size of a phone booth.

Martinez is a much much better boxer than GGG, I dunno what it is about these forums but it seems like the majority bandwagon on FOTM fighters, kinda feels like most of the site only started following boxing within the last 3-4 years lol.

GGG can be hit and Martinez could hit pretty hard....

Smart pick is GGG, but if Martinez was able to establish some offense and elusive footwork early on, who knows. GGG has never really had to respect the offense of any of his opponents.

GGG isn't a black american with no chin (Williams). I'm probably one of the biggest Martinez fans on this board and I wouldn't want him to take that fight even in his prime.

The Martinez that KO'd Williams or schooled Chavez beats any version of GGG we've seen

I can appreciate you thinking GGG is too much for Martinez, but WTF does "black American" have to do with anything, and how can you expect to have credibility with comments like Williams not having a chin... :patsch
