Sergio is tailor made for Money. From the movement to the foot work. When they were looking at Sergio he could do nothing on PPV. So they were trying to put Andre Dirrell on him when he was signed to Money & Fiddy.. sergio wanted no parts...

He lost to Margarito when he was younger. PAC destroys that version

I think he comfortabley beats Floyd , against Pacquioa im not sure , Pacquiao has the power to knock anybody out.

I guess it depends on which version of Floyd and Pac Sergio faces. Sergio was never technically great, I think he'd have a better chance at beating Floyd than Pac due to Floyd's activity level and lack of power @ 154. I think Floyd counters the hell out of him and wins the rounds pretty cleanly. This is based off of the 2012 Floyd. For Pacqiuao, I'll go based off of the 2011 version. I think Pacquiao could definitely land cleanly and effectively but it's a toss up, because Sergio could hurt him. Add in Sergio's size and movement and it spells disaster for Pac. Tough call on both, it's a toss up.

I'm talking about the version of Martinez who called them out repeatedly and offered to meet them both at a catchweight. Try to follow along, dip****.

Martinez is not my hero, you mongoloid, and Cotto stopped being a WW years ago when he moved up to 154 after the Pacquiao fight. :nono

He has the power not to knock anybody out in the last five years, and he certainly has the chin to get knocked the **** out by a single straight left hand from Sergio. :deal

When you say "prime", do you really mean "before he was shot and had no legs anymore"?

...because he wasn't yet famous in his actual prime.

What fights would you define as his prime, IB? Pre- or post- Cintron?

It's a shame neither fighter stepped up, since Cotto showed just how overrated Sergio was. Both would have had a chance against him if they had had the nerve to face him. Manny more so than Floyd, style wise.

Yeah, just like McBride showed how overrated prime Tyson was.

    That old chestnut.

I admit Sergio had faded. Of course. He lost to Murray, if we are being honest. But his comp had never been high. And Cotto would have beat any version of Sergio. Give the man his due. He was the best boxer Sergio ever fought, looked the best in his career, and had the right gameplan. You Sergioseksuals overrate the Argentine to a ridiculous degree.

As an out and proud Sergioseksual,:thumbsup its pretty obvious to me, your knowledge of boxing is very limited, to GGG and GGG and that's about it. Pavlik and Williams are better wins than anything Floyd or Manny have accomplished in the last 4 years, Dzinziruk was feared, he and Barker were both top undefeated talents.
Bunema was solid he destroyed him Richard Williams and Adrian Stone were solid he destroyed them. He softened up Macklin who was good before his fight for GGG He KO'd and beat Cintron on points in the same fight, Chavez had never been dominated like that, even in all of his close fights, not by Vanda, Rubio or Molina, Sergio shut his ass out.

Just because someone loses it doesn't automatically mean they are worthless it means the guy that beat them was better. Sergio was not overrated, by that standard that would mean GGG is vastly brutally overrated.

You are aware we are talking about Sergio, and the middleweight division, are you not?

    By who? :rofl

Darren Barker was able to walk in on Sergio with simply a high guard.

For your own education, and so you don't sound like a complete idiot, please remove the words "softened up" from your vocabulary if you are going to talk about boxing. As in "Tommy Hearns softened up Roberto Duran for Iran Barkley".

The great Kermit Cintron, who had already been knocked out by Tony Margarito twice??? Talk about being softened up..... :patsch

Chavez Jr. is universally acknowledged to be a lazy second-rate fighter who had no business having a title fight, but who nevertheless ruined Sergio.

GGG would destroy Sergio, which is why Sergio ducked him, and continues to duck him, even though he wants to win a title again. Sergio will NEVER get in the ring with GGG, and neither you nor any of his other fans want him to.
