Really? At 15 I’d imagine Ray would be able to put anyone that tries that to sleep

...And there's a good chance we'd all be debating whether he was the greatest boxer of all time.

Back in the 90s on AOL there use to be a boxing forum that also had a chatroom where you could talk boxing live. Every night it was rollin' On fight nights it was great. I wonder why there is nothing like that now. The fun we would have with the assortment of freaks we all are.

I think it works both ways.

Take Jack Britton and Kid Lewis and put them in today’s welterweight division — no special allowances, they weigh in the day before and fight a guy who barely touches 147 for like a couple of hours on weigh-in days only and comes into the ring at 160 — and they don’t last 200 fights. They don’t last at all. They get destroyed.

Not to mention they’d probably be outclassed in speed and combination punching and technique.

Athletes of any era in any sport thrive because they are suited to that sport in that day as the way it’s contested.

I am not sure how dropping Leonard would do? He be facing with a almost other sport of 20 plus rounds, smaller gloves, a lot more wresting on the inside and the lack of a neutral corner rule on knockdowns. Not to mention the canvas was cover in resin.
