Prime Sugar Ray Leonard vs Prime Pacquiao

1 fight at 147 against a shot fighter, 1 fight at 145 against a damaged fighter. And now some are saying he would beat Leonard or atleast make it a tough hard win for Leonard??!

All 3 are not even close to Leonard's level.

 

Let's put it this way: Manny is scared to fight Yuri Foreman. How do you think he'd feel about fighting Sugar Ray Leonard? There's no way in hell he would ever step into a ring with him. Too tall, too fast, too elusive, and most of all too good for Pacquiao. This would be a shutout or KO for Leonard without a doubt.

 

Leonard's style and skill is all too wrong for Pacquaio.

Manny's a great fighter, but SRL would box circles around him. And SRL had the power to keep Manny humble as well. Manny would have his moments, as SRL wasn't the greatest defensive fighter, but his offense at 147 was the best aside from the original Sugar. Leonard by UD or even a stoppage.

 

Seems you are NOT contended pac moving up and winning the division seven times that NO OTHER boxer has done :smokeatsch

 

I love Pac, but Sugar wins easy UD.

 

The fighters Pacquiao beat are not even close to The Leonard resumes that Leonard beat.

 

I thought the exact same way until I heard Roach explain out of his own mouth that he thought those fighters were past their best, and that is why they took the fight.

Still great victories by Pac, but it took the icing off the cake for me.


Not to mention, none of those fighters are anywhere near what Leonard was.

 

I actually think Leonard may knock Pac out. Bigger fighter, better fighter. Pac would not take this fight. Pac's risks are more calculated than a lot of people think.
