Mosely who beat Oscar would win 3 rds? The Mosely who fought PBF probably did FFS. Mayweather barely beat an inactive ODLH himself.

Well actually I remember an interview where Schaefer said the actually had a meeting with himself, Shane, and Oscar. They told Shane he could have the first shot at Mayweather and Shane declined. People need to remember that it wasn't until after the Hoya fight that Mayweather was even seen as a bigger draw than Shane.

Personally, I think it makes little sense to predict that a great defensive fighter, who has not even had a legit KD scored against him, would get KO'd.

Never heard that before. But if we have one guy who is known for waiting a fighter out of his prime. And another who took on stylistic nightmares, who were high risk low reward.. I'll side with history

That's your perogitive. But remember this, we also have Mayweather on video calling out Mosley after the Bruseles fight. We also have Mosley on video saying he had no interest in fighting Mayweather during his post fight interview against Vargas. If you can find any evidence of Shane expressing interest in fighting Mayweather, before the Hoya fight, I'd love to see it. I don't see how Mayweather could duck a guy with no interest in fighting him.

You are a ****ing idiot. There is video proof of Mosley turning down a fight with Mayweather. Of course you already know that. :patsch:patsch:patsch

I don't get the logic of these people. Mayweather supposedly waited for Mosley and Hoya to get out their primes before fighting them. However, they were much bigger stars than him when they were in their prime, fought two or divisions ahead of him, and had no interest in fighting him; this despite the fact that he was pleading for a fight with both of them. I'm not going to say Mosley or Hoya ducked him, but it's absurd to suggest that he ducked them when they were in their prime.

People are so desperate to discredit Mayweather's greatness that they have to continually resort to making up hypotheticals, in which (insert fighter's name) would've beat Floyd so many years ago. The fact is Floyd is an undefeated ATG. Deal with it. Shane was never in Floyd's league because he's a mental midget in the ring. Once he started getting schooled, he would break mentally like he always does.
