At his peak Antonio Tarver stood over the fallen Roy Jones Jr., and doubtless imagined a brilliant career like Archie Moore or Dick Tiger. Years and years later his career looks more Tommy Morrison, minus the AIDS – complete with a career-high victory over a Hall of Famer, sporadic title reigns and a Rocky film. Most retire with less. I assume you mean all current LHW’s in their respective primes as well? That being said I don’t see him doing to well today. Jones was weight drained, and aging. When Jones jr. had god given reflexes that could keep him out of trouble he was nearly untouchable, but that was not the Jones that he knocked out. Jones next loss showed that what Tarver did would become the norm. Kovalev kills him. Canelo beats him by late stoppage and Beterbiev wins a UD. P.S. Love that it asterisks Dcik Tigers name.
Knocks out current Kovalev. Decisions Gvozdyk. Even match-up with Bivol. Bivol might do just enough to outwork him. I think Canelo is tricky enough to get a close decision. Beterbiev could go either way. No knockouts either way. Decisions Alvarez and Jack.
Bull****. He kocked out Jones because he was really awkward and could crack a good chin with his left hand. Jones was fine until that punch landed, not after.
He'd be a favorite over every current LHW. He'd murder Bivol, Gvozdyk, Canelo, and the current Kovalev. Beterbiev might be a tricky fight but I'd still give Tarver the edge.
