Prime Tito V Margarito

Floyd hits Tito with straight punches ... because Tito is coming in straight lines and doesn't know how to move side to side ... he has speed and he has power ... hell he even had very good boxing skills @ welterweight ... but he's not good at using angles ... he walks right into the jab and doesn't know how to pivot well. Yeah he could move to the side but his lateral movement was very stiff and robotic like.

Floyd would move from side to side ... use his superior footspeed and movement ... use his jab ... and put shot his way to a UD.

I've got all of Tito's fights on DVD ... i'm a grown man and I have an extensive fight collection.

Tito would land that text-book left hook much too often on Margo's poor defense, I'm afraid. Tito by clear UD-if not late-round stoppage.

All this talk should serve to remind all of you just how good Oscar was in his prime, seein' as he gave Trinidad a real boxing lesson back in 99-and got robbed for tryin' to employ a different approach to fighting someone like Tito.

Tito. Margo is too easy to find, I don't care how durable you are, you need to make Tito miss, make him pay. Margo seems to be about as tough as they come, but tough nuts are meant to be cracked.

 

i doubt Margarito can take Tito's left hook to the button.... and even IF he can he wont take 2 of them

 

Now is this thread taking into consideration the Tito with the "special" handwraps or regular handwraps.



















Just kidding!!! Even though I like Margarito, I can't envision him beating Tito; however, I wish Tito had fought Jose Luis Lopez. That would have been a damn good fight if there ever was one.
