Prime Tito vs Margarito

Margaritto. I dont know I think somehow Tito would also fall apart. Maybe with some excellent body punching my the TJ TOrnado

 

Tito has size and more power than Cotto. I think with Margarito's sloppy defense, Tito would stop him late.

C'mon man....let's not compare Cotto to Tito. Tito would easily dominate and KO Margo. We talking about Tito at 147 folks. Don't kid yourself. Tito and Cotto are nothing a like in terms of boxing style. Tito wouldn't be running around trying to counter. He would be in there exchanging and imposing his will on Margo. He'd find Margo all night with his right hand. It took a masterfull boxer in B-hop to take him down, and that's at 160.

Who would you all pick right now in a fight between Pavlik and Margo at 160?

You see, there's a reason why Margo is fighting at 147 and not 154. Given his style and skill, he needs to be bigger than his opponent. You all saw what happened when he was up against PW.

Tito would catch Margarito with something he can't take, unlike Cotto was able to do....Tito hit harder than Cotto and Margarito's defence would get him caught many times....remember how Santos rocked Margarito many times and tell me Tito wouldn't do worse....

 

A peak Tito would destroy Margo, very lopsided fight IMO.

Very true. He'd be fighting a guy his own size with greater stopping power, stamina, and better accuracy. Tito would be pushing Marg back the first exchange. If Marg continued to come forward in his usual manner Tito would would ko him. As good as Marg's chin is, it is Tito we're talking about.

 

Same as Cotto, and for the same reason. Margarito by late TKO

 

trinidad is a whole nother beast...you're talking earth shakeing power.. not pressure... if trinidad hits margarito ..your gonna see a huge difference in reaction ...

Trinidad had freakish power. More freakish than Margo's chin, IMO. In fact, I'll catch **** for this but it can be argued that the Campas Tito beat was in the same league as margarito (as far as being a durable fighter that wore people down).
