Prime Tommy Hearns @ 160 vs Pavlik. Who wins?

I agree with you basically abusing this guy, fire away.

However, the Calzaghe vs Hopkins fight has brought up way less contraversy than the Hopkins vs Taylor fights.

Calzaghe won more cleanly in his fight vs Hopkins.

firstly im not boxing mad, and im slated for liking it by everybody i know as they all think it should be banned

all im saying about abraham is his style is similar to winkys, not his resume!

lets take a look at taylors record shall we - beats hopkins by getting slaughtered in the championship rounds, and misses plenty of punches in the other rounds and wins the round on workrate, winky beat taylor imo, and so calzaghe did beat hopkins more convincingly

and dont even bother saying im dim, as calling somebody dim on boxing knowledge which is fine is pretty pathetic

it almost suck's to say it, But Pavlik would have been an opponent in
Tommy's era. IMO

All I can say is that it was 99% Hopkins fault that the fight was ugly as hell to watch.

He made Ruiz look like Roy Jones in that fight.

but you're critisizing taylor for the way he beat hopkins when, at the time, hopkins was still seen as untouchable at middle.

and nobody has ever looked good against hopkins - ever - so even though taylor's wins were both debatable he still gets props for it, agreed?

put it this way. calzaghe never wanted to take on hopkins at taylor's age.

 

Nah, he just knocked everyone else out from range.

He started boxing when SRL got in his ass.

He should have boxed against Hagler, but he didn't. He probably could have won if he established a jab and used his legs more.

Then again, it may be possible that Hagler had something to do with that. Possibly.

 

i do apologise for the problem in my first post, what im saying is that a prime hearns would batter pavlik as hearns achieved so much in his career, pavlik hasnt proven much at all to me yet

 

Good Post! The only way Tommy would lose to Pavlik is if he went to war instead of boxing smartly, like he sometimes did, and his chin betrayed him.
