I havn't seen much of Ayala, but from the little I've seen he's and explosive puncher! But had too short of a career to realy see him in his prime, IMHO. He could take a shot, had massive heart with serious mental focus for a young fighter, and applied heavy pressure. Just on that he's got Cintron, no I'm joking. Kermit, though a big cry baby complainer, is seasoned. This is tough to call.
For me, I highly doubt Ayala woulda handled the Leonard's, Duran's, Hearns', Hagler's of the world... but I think he woulda steamrolled Kermit the frog within 5. Ayala was light years better then Alfredo Angulo.
