he was not prime at 37. That is a ridiculous claim from the sort of person who in ablink of an eye would be happy to accept that Wlad at 38 was on the way out when against fury.

shame on you for your double standards, sir, compounded by wlad picking the post prime fighter for a contrived title defence not once, but TWICE.

I would favor Wilder, his speed and power would get him the ko victory in the later rounds.

Except Wlad at 38 had already been boxing for most of his life. Thompson picked up the gloves in his late 20s - that's the difference. Are you really this stupid?

no need to be so defensive, I wasnt being overtly damning. But you should fell some shame in your double standard.

so what, his physical prime was over in his early 30s.

sure he got more wily, but he was easier to gass out and you know it so why you question it is beyond me.

Thompson was his mandatory both times.
    Can't cherry pick a mandatory.

There is ZERO double standard here. Wlad did not cherry pick a past prime Thompson as you falsely stated, not in the first fight anyways - Physical prime =/= prime in terms of boxing skill. Thompson was at his physical prime when he picked the gloves up to begin with. Klitschko fought Thompson in his BOXING prime after his physical prime had already ended due to his late start. You're just trying to save face now. I'm done here - another day exposing the buffoonery of the Dinos, Blizzys and Herols.

why you running away when you just admitted that half my case was correct? afraid the rest will stand up to?

I just differentiated between a prime early 30something Tony and a post prime late 30something one for the benefit of the thread, sorry if it burns you, but that problem is yours, dont blame others for your own misfortune.

true, but the organisation should have provided him with prime fighters to defend against. not only was tony on the fade but he had a thin boxing pedigree to begin with.

Yet as it stands, Tony 1 is one of wlads best defences, when it should have been classed a "staybusy"/worst one - certainly would be for many other champs.

this version of wilder beats prime thompson IMO

thompson was an ok fighter but his best win ever was IMO luan krasniqi
he was never that good v anyone in the top 10 .

best fighters he beat were impressive on paper but as soon as things got hard they folded while thompson had a hang tough mentality .

he no longer has that but then he has made his money and is only boxing for the money now his will to win no longer there.

wilder has a lot of speed and power advantages and thompson was never a big puncher allowing deontay to get away with his mistakes and beat thompson by 7 to 10 rounds

When was Tony Thompson "prime"? I'm pretty sure none of us have seen bouts from then. Did you mean "peak" Tony Thompson? Because peak and prime aren't the same thing.

Thompsons legs were slow as molasses. Wilder blows him away without going through any of the struggle that Wlad went through.

Wilder is about to face a Bane'd up version of Thompson so how he does in that fight will show you how he would have dealt with TT
