They fought in the tougher era, but they themselves were not impressive. I think Ortiz vs Berbick would be a good fight, and I would favor Ortiz in both fights

They were levels above Wilders comp, its an insult to them to say otherwise !

A half-drunk New York cab driver is better than 90% of Wilder's comp lol

That's my whole point, Mike Tysons comp when champ was a lot better than Wilders, it wasn't like the 70's obviously or the 90's but **** me, Wilders comp is the worst in history !

Wilder tried to diss Tysons comp asking "who did he beat and dont say Spinks or Holmes"

I think Thomas would beat Ortiz handily.

Tubbs Ortiz I might call 50/50

The year is 2119. Wilder has been dead for almost 50 years by that point. Old timers who saw Wilder live when they were but wee little lads insist that he is one of the great champions of old. He's every bit as revered as Dempsey or Louis. While modern boxing fans insist that he could never beat heavyweight champion X because boxing has evolved. By then, heavyweight champion X will be part man part cyborg. Think the Terminator.

The only old time fighter who would have a chance is Primo Carnera.

Blond Ortiz beats them both. 38 year old Ortiz is more of a toss up against the two talented but inconsistent fighters.
