Tubbs and Thomas beat the shite out of him late, he has a punchers chance but they can hurt him too

Exactly how I see it. Thomas when he was in tip top shape had a great right hand, which would be all wrong for Ortiz.

Sorry if you already answered this the last time I asked but other than a few punches that old Ortiz ate in the Wilder fight, what is the basis for your belief that he' a "sucker for rights" and can't handle people with powerful rights?

The Thomas right hand was never great. The left hand was comfortably his better punch and his right hand average.

It's been his achilles heel even in his amateur days. Luis Ortiz is undoubtedly very skilled, but he always keeps his head in the same spot, which is why he eats flush rights as easily as he does. Him being a sucker for a good right hand is why he could never reach the top in the amateurs or as a pro.

Check at 1:30 where Povernov easily times Ortiz with a right hand.

I can't find the fight anymore, but Solis also had a field day with Ortiz because it was too easy to time Ortiz with counter rights. I also can't find the Zack Page fight either anymore, but he gave Ortiz a ton of trouble because he was able to keep Ortiz honest most of the fight with counter rights until the later rounds. Malik Scott when he actually tried also landed counter right very easily on Ortiz as well.
