The best of Tubbs ,is it good enough to beat Holyfield in place of Moorer in 1994 ? Tony at his peak ,tough, fast hands up against a real deal not at his very Best . So can he do it ?
No. Evander is way too busy and won't be posing on the outside. Some body work by Evander and Tubbs will have alligator arms. Tubbs has perhaps the ability to fight a totally negative type fight & last the distance. But he's getting badly outworked against this opponent. And Tubb's punches will have zero effect, which certainly doesn't help his chances.
Perhaps if he had the power shots to go with it we'd see a different scenario .Tubbs ,not the biggest of hitters. The 94 Holy wasn't his best against Moorer ,but MM was a different kettle of fish .I don't see it being one sided but Holy still takes it .
