Prime Tony Tucker, a tricky opponent for Vitali Klitschko?

Vitali never beaten anyone as good as Tucker. Would be a fascinating fight for sure and Tucker could give him some problems. I'd bet on Klitschko to be a favorite tho.

 

Win or lose i don't think Vitali would look very good in this one.

 

Prime Tucker would be a problem for anyone. That always was the problem with him, you never knew which version of Tucker you were going to get. At his best, he was a very good, at his worst, he was just a guy.

 

Tucker had the tools to make it awkward early, good jab,smart movement , proven durability.
But Klitschko is all wrong for him stylistically.
He doesn't get discouraged, keeps applying pressure and break's fighters down round by round.
Tucker survives but he's not doing enough to win rounds.

Vitali wasn't a pressure fighter. He never "kept applying pressure" against anybody.

 

The fight would go the distance in what would probably be a dull affair for the fans. In the end I think Vitali wins a decision

 

I disagree, I think he applied steady pressure using his jab.

 

Against guys stood flat footed in front of him. Vitali was a mid range boxer. He was never a pressure fighter and there is no fight on his resume to show how he would deal with a quick boxer mover like Tucker.
