What about Cotto? He fought Floyd, Pac and soon S. Martinez. Manny and Floyd are slacking.

    This, with the exception of:

    ---

People saying Cotto... Cotto was not at his absolute best or prime at 147, or 145 I guess, over a year after Margarito brutally TKO'd him.

Was Bradley at 147, 2014, post-Pacquiao I and Provodnikov, in his prime?

I'm quite sure when all is said and done his peak prime will be viewed as having been at 140.

    True.

Pac W Cotto is better than Floyd W Cotto in my opinion at this moment...

But Cotto was much better in the few fights leading into the Floyd showdown than he was in the few fights leading into the Pacquiao showdown, for whatever that is worth. Lets not act as though the argument can't be made they are even quality wins in any realistic manner.

you can argue pac's prime weight isnt known at the time he fought cotto either:
    few fights at 130
    1 fight at 135
    1 fight at 147
    1 fight at 140
    c/w of 145.

pac went up 7lbs (from 138 weigh in fight prior) and cotto went down 1 lb( from 146 weighin fight prior).

    tko 11.:good

pedjr went life and death with double-damaged goods.:hi:

    No one mentioned Clottey yet.
He wasn't a top top fighter, but Clottey at 147 is WAY tougher fight than Guerrero,Ortiz, or Maidana.

    Cotto
    Bradley
Clottey - just about a top fighter - gave a prime Cotto all he could handle.

    Really?

I like Clottey a lot. More than you, probably.

    Buuuuut.

Saying "EQUAL in toughness" would have been better for you.

When Pac fought Clottey, Clottey was already past his own prime and that is the stipulation of this thread.

Guerrero, Ortiz, and Maidana all defeat the turtle that Pac fought in 2010.

2008 Clottey? Different story. But Pac didn't fight him then, did he...

No they don't. Clottey was stuck in that shell because he couldn't deal with Mannys speed. When he let his hands go he did DAMAGE. Clottey would have knocked Ortiz out easily. And he'd take Guerrero and Maidana to hell and back. He's way too big for those guys also

Love all these *****s bashing Pac's wins. Clottey comes off a SD loss to Cotto and he's washed up. Cotto was better when he fought Floyd.......just no. Morales, Barrera, younger Marquez.

    Keep on coming *****s.
