As much as I want to say Trinidad wins by decrapitation, Pacquiao did everything that gave Tito problems. Speed, he was In and out, footwork, etc. For all of Pacquiao's clout as a puncher he fought an intelligent fight and was never lured into unecessary exchanges. I'm confident that Tito would actually punch back, but Pacquiao's speed and straight left may have the stuff to put Tito down early - as Trinidad was prone to do at 147. Pac would have to maintain the disciplined fight plan for the full twelve rounds and I am confident he has the stamina to do so. I'm going on gut feel here - but I'd actually take Manny. Tito is far and away the better welterweight, but Trinidad was made to look amateurish by lesser gameplans than the one Manny successfully executed Saturday night.

Exactly. Knocking down Tito was the worst thing his opponent could do. You just knew he was going to get brutal once he got up (and he ALWAYS got up. Even against B Hop.)

Pacquiao's power wuldn't have diddly to do with it.

Tito aways had a very wide stance which is why he struggled with Oscar in their fight as ODLH's lateral movement didn't let him get set to punch.

Pacquiao would survive a few rounds with movement, but Tito was a fearsome two handed puncher and I don't think anyone would want to feed Pac to Tito at Welter.

By far the most likely outcome. Freddy would entertain the notion of that fight less than he does the notion of a Margarito fight.

Tito always got back up though.

We havent seen Pac's chin tested at 135 let alone 147. The last time he took some good shots was at 130. Oscar didnt land **** on him.

Tito is also a great finisher, when he smelled blood he pounced on them. I dont know why I am arguing that much, the simple answer is Tito by stoppage.

Yeah it would be over for him if he hurt Tito or even stunned him. Tito was a lot like Morales, if they got stunned or in Tito's case dropped, they would come back fighting like a bat out of hell, which always made for some exciting fights.

If Pac does land and stun him, which is reasonable, then Tito retaliates and gets the best of Pac who will be out gunned and hasnt been chin tested at 147.

With Pacman vs. Tito, the result would have been what we thought Oscar was going to do to Pacman on Saturday. Tito would have walked him down, although I could see Tito go down in a flash knockdown in an early round, but get up to win by knockout in round 8 or 9 or so.

This thread should be more like the Tito who fought Jones... Would he beat Pac? Only fair comparison considering Hoya.
