Right. And all of the Pac fans on here are objective and fair when discussing Pac right?

We've had threads on here that are virtually 'Pac V Godzilla' recently. (Pac TKO 6 apparently. Godzilla can't cope with Pac's unbelievable speed and power, and refuses to come out in the 7th).

Pac has done some phenomenal things, but really, whisper it, is untested over a long period at 140.

It would be a great fight. But the first person that says Pac beat Hatton who beat Kosty, so Pac wins should get an autoban.

Tszyu Vs Southpaws at 140 vs a Manny who's only fight at 140 is to a Ricky Hatton who whilst the man at 140 at the time of the fight, certainly not in his prime and recently KTFO'd.

It's a great fight, my Tszyu nuthuggery will only allow a pick of a 116-112 type of decision over Pac at a minimum.

I don't know, Tszyu didn't like pressure fighters, he prefered boxers, because he liked to chase down people. It fit right into his style. With Pacquiao, he would be dealing with a pressure fighter with a variety of options, making things difficult.

However, the people who did beat Tszyu (Phillips and Hatton) were either just as big or bigger than him, and they applied constant, unrelenting pressure, whereas Pac doesn't seem to do that as much nowadays; he's much more of a thinking fighter now, although he can turn it up still. Pac's probably smaller than Tszyu too.

It's tough, real tough to choose, but I'll go with history on this one; Kostya eventually is overwhelmed in the later rounds by Pac's nonstop attack.

    Pac by TKO.

Tszyu is a straight forward fighter, not a counterpuncher. He also was not a very quick fighter. Pac on the other hand has very fast hands and is very quick on his feet. Tszyu wouldn't be able to land anything big and will taste a lot of leather before finally hitting the canvas.

Tszyu = most overrated fighter on ESB!

Would be a great fight, very evenly matched, but I genuinely believe Pacquiao would win by late stoppage.

This almost to a word is what was written about Tszyu before the Judah fight.

Not quick enough, won't be able to land, etc etc.

Now, Pac is better than Judah IMO, but at the time Judah was being praised as some unstoppable force, a bit like Pac right now.

Tszyu is far from the straight forward plodder you've made him out to be here.

Pac is fast, good on his feet, sure. But Tszyu is bigger, hits very hard, and never fought anyone he couldn't land on.

It's a much closer fight than most people are saying here.

I think Tszyus timing would be very beneficial in slowing down Pacs speed.

Also Tszyu did well against southpaws and had trouble with pressure fighters who were able to be physical with him.....Pac wouldnt be.

I could see Pac betting hurt and stopped with one of Tszyu's big straight rights.

Why do people continue to insist that Pacquaio is some unhittable defensive master just because he's fast? He is there to be hit. Hatton even managed to land a few good shots despite how short that fight was

Pacquaio continues to impress me more with each fight, he has carried his power to the higher weights without losing any speed so it's a tough fight. That said Tszyu also had devastating power at 140 and had a knack for timing southpaws and hitting them with big rights down the pipe

Basically a pick 'em fight, would be explosive and over in 6 or less whoever won I would bet

I hug the nuts of neither PACMAN or Tszyu.

But anyone who suggests a knockout before the 11th or 12th is absolutely dreaming.

This is an absolute pick em fight. Can come down to so many variables that sway a fight 1 percent one way or the other.

Tszyu gets respect early...probably goes on to 116-112

Tszyu has a hard time landing...probably goes to split decision (takes him 6 rounds to catch up)

Manny goes out to an early lead with speed and precision..Tszyu stalks him late...split decision one way or other.

Mannys speed gives him an early lead and hangs on in a war...116-112

early knock out for either...very very very doubtful.

Tszyu against Phillips still on his feet when it is stopped. Phillips was a big big 140....I cannot see Tszyu getting knocked down or out. Manny is untested against a true hitter at 140 so that is the only variable that is a maybe.
