Different fighters peak and decline at different ages. Tyson and Benitez peaked in their early 20s. Lewis in his early 30s, maybe mid 30s. Was Tszyu in his prime? No, but he wasn't shot like say, Tyson against McBride or Chavez against Tszyu. He was coming off a good win in which he looked great, but so is Mosley right now. Mosley looked as good as he's had since the early part of the decade. Is Mosley in his prime? No, but he's past his prime, but not shot. Tszyu was past his prime, not getting many rounds in, but not a pathetic shell of what he once was in 2005. I still give Hatton credit for the win, ugly and dirty as it may have been. Now do I think a prime Tszyu still loses to peak Hatton? No.
Dude, why are you giving him the thumbs up?? He gave one of the worst arguements I've ever seen; Success doesn't equate to prime (must be failure then). Success in the ring must come from something other than peak, or close to peak performances. Hypothetical "what if's" to back up his arguements - What if Sanders ko'ed both Klits, Jones ko'ed Calzaghe etc - surely a first for debates here. Then he starts giving examples of him, I'm assuming never a world class boxer to begin with, being in his forties to argue his point. WTF?
