One thing I've noticed is that when people refer to Tszyu as 'Zoo' they usually are quite ignorant about him and what kind of fighter he was.
You're comparing Tsyyu to Gatti? :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:patsch:patsch:patsch:patsch

'One could say, with the same rhetorical effect: 'Yeah because so many fighters have broken Tszyu down before. :patsch '

Tszyu has never been outboxed or out strategized. These were his strengths too, as well as vicious power. So you could say, What does Floyd possibly bring to the table that Tszyu hasnt seen before? The only thing is more ability. Tszyu has never fought anyone of Mayweathers calibre, but Mayweather has never fought anyone like Tszyu before either.

"Oscar fought Miguel at 140 not 154 as Mayweather fought him. Slight difference in size and strength dont you think?"

So a 35 year old DLH at 154 brought more to the table than the prime 140 version?

If every fighter got stronger as they went up in age and weight, well....DLH would be fighting at heavyweight.

Would have been a great fight, Tszyu was really good against the quicker slick boxers but its too hard to say who would have won.

I know you have Tszyu in your avater but a little realism doesnt go a miss once in a while.

This fight has got Mayweather by clear competitive decision written all over it.

:rofl :rofl :rofl Are you serious. So saying Zoo instead of Tszyu because i dont want to type out the letters in a last name that isnt apart of the English language is somehow an insult? :nut

Actually no. I was comparing what happens to anyone who decides to box with Floyd Mayweather. If Zoo doesnt press Mayweather and try to cut off the ring, he gets destroyed. There is no way in hell Zoo can box with Floyd. You are a moron if you think so.

    Vince Phillips. Ricky Hatton.

So you are saying Zoo could outbox Mayweather. :rofl

Floyd has a world class chin and possibly the best defense in boxing history. Floyd has fought 147lbers and 154lbers. Floyd stopped Ricky Hatton when Zoo couldnt. Nuff said. Oh and dont talk about Zoo being out of his prime, power is the last thing to go, and Zoo had just TKO'd Sharamba Mitchell in his last fight, and had many an opportunity to land clean blows on Hatton.
Nonsense. Zoo has never fought a fighter like Floyd, the speed, the defense, the ring smarts, the stamina, while Floyd has fought many technical sluggers like Chavez, Hernandez, Castillo, Corrales ect.

Floyd clear UD. It shouldnt even be an argument.

    Good post, Danny :good

Tszyu is much more than a crude slugger though - and a far better boxer than Gatti ever was!

Never said he was. I admire his skills. However Zoo trying to outbox Mayweather would be like Mayweather trying to out slug Zoo. You are playing to the other fighters strengths. No way Zoo outboxes a master boxer. He'd have to apply intelligent pressure.

Aw man shut up lol... Get off of Kostya's dick and learn to spell. Kostya got knocked out by Phillips. Hurtado almost had Kostya out. Kostya is/was always overrated, and you overrate him also you sorry as mofo. Again, no...Kostya wouldn't hurt Floyd if he landed.

Kostya would never break down an elite fighter like Floyd. He has never beaten an elite fighter. He can't fight inside at all. Kostya was a good offensive fighter against inferior comp. His resume is filled with old men and beatable guys. Judah is Kostya's best win.

I knew that at the mention of Gatti, Kostya's fans would say, "You are comparing Kostya to Gatti"??? lol. Stop trying to overrate Kostya. We haven't forgotten about him so quickly. He is still the same old guy who never rematched Hatton or Kostya, and did not fight the best 140 had to offer.

    You are an idiot.

From the Phillips fight onward he fought and cleaned out his division - Something Floyd never stuck around long enough to do at any weight class.

    How can he rematch himself?

I like how with Floyd fans the hatorade only flows one way.

How many undisputed titles did Floyd ever hold? Oh thats right - None...

Totally illogical. So after KT knocks Zab, a fast undefeated fighter, into Disneyland, your conclusion after less than 2 rounds of boxing is he can't catch PBF. You may be right but your argument is wrong.

Look at KT's amateur fight with Forrest. KT fought > 300 amateur fights.

KT's record against boxers was excellent and he could always "catch them".

PBF's chin is fairly untested because he is hard to hit, and that means it will be harder for KT to get him, but I have the feeling that KT has the power for a one-punch stun/KO.

Therefore, if, during 12 rounds, KT could land a few decent shots, I would be favouring him. Given his excellent amateur background, punching accuracy and power, and record against light hitting opponents, I think it is a fairly reasonable assessment. Given that PBF has definitely avoided big hitting opponents since moving up to 140, you have to suspect there is a weakness there.

Of course, PBF could win a UD, which would probably be the likely result if it did make 12 rounds.

This fight is still a possibility, but pretty damn improbable now :?
