Prime Tszyu Vs the 140 version of Floyd, who wins?

Everyone who talks about Kostya mentions his accuracy and that right hand. Much like Oscar and his left hook. People seem to forget how complete floyd is. He can throw every punch in the book fast and hurtful and accurate. As a matter of fact the most accurate puncher in history and least landed upon in history. It is laughable when I hear Oscar's left hook or Tysu's right hand. woo de doo.

I'm not underestimating Floyd's defense.
But you seem to be looking at Zab/KT like it was just dumb luck. I'm saying that KT was timing his opponent. A fast opponent like Zab, and it only took KT 2 rounds (less) to get the timing down to catch him.
Also, it seems like you're painting KT to be a one trick pony. But I think throughout his career he has established that he's not just a power, power, power guy. He's cerebral, like Floyd he trying to 'figure out' his opponent.
And in your assessment of KT you're completely neglecting his pressure and ability to cut off the ring.

DIfferent classes. KT was great but he is too primitive, he couldn't hurt even Roger Mayweather.
Straght right and his jab were good but even Oscar at 154 with his combos couldn't hurt Floyd.
The fight would start like Castillio - Mayweather II and would end up like Gatti Mayweather.

Agreed. Im not a big PBF fan and Ive ALWAYS been a Kostya fan but the only chance Id give him is a punchers' chance and hope that the big right hand lands flush. If not for that I dont see Kostya outboxing him nor do I see him winning any type of decision and I dont care how much "pressure" he puts on him.

 

Zab got the goods but he doesn't know how to use it. He is one dimensional. He looks good throwing fast punches and got good pop but he is dumber than a bag of bricks. what good is speed or power when your dumb?

Floyd IS far more talented than Kostya and will bring a game plan to beat Kostya easily simply bc kostya have very very slow footwork. He will never catch him. Most good fight cannot deal with good fighters with great lateral movements.

 

Lets use some logic here. Oscar at 154 standing at 5'11 in a tiny ring at age 34 who never took much punishment fighting smaller guys in his entire career had hard times landing even jabs. and Kostya being shorter, slower, can land his right hand?

 

im not disclaiming flyods skill level, I agree he is a great fighter but sayings tszyus right hand is laughable is a understatement to all those fighters who have been Ko'd by it, so when flyod likes to pot shot opponents by making them miss how can he pot shot a fighter who has great speed and accuracy with a reaction counter as quick as Kostya, name me a fighter mayweather has faced who has anywhere near the skill level with the hunger and desire to beat a opponenet as much as a prime KT

 

only chance Kostya got is a puncher's chance and based on the statistics on hitting floyd who is not a speedy fighter is very very slim. If vegas post a line on a "prime" Kostya to a always in prime Floyd except injured. For full 12 rounds would be unbettable and expensive. Floyd will school Kostya every round bc there is no way Kostya could outbox Floyd.

 

Ive been saying that about Zab for years now. He looks like a world beater for 4 rds and then he forgets what a combination is and decides to throw one shot at a time, while fading in the process. Im also extremely critical of his father as his cornerman.

 

Kostya's right hand is accurate and powerful but is not like he fought many guys that a multi-layered defense like Floyd.

I think is laughable when people say Judah is faster than Floyd. The guys wants to shine so much that all his effort is to throw fast bombs. There is a price to pay when you invest soo much on speed and power that you get hit the hardest too bc you don't see it coming. When floyd put speed in his punches, it is a blur and plans something else. If anything Judah just got fast hands some decent movement. If he is so fast then he would have better defense then his crap defense.
