He got a punchers chance. Kostya was never jaw dropping impressive to me. Is one thing to be flashy, I know that but Floyd is not just flash. Kostya got no physical advantages beside strength, and power. That is not enough to beat someone like Floyd. against Vince was able to beat Kostya, don't tell me floyd can't do it.

 

Judah was also 4-1 fave. an hyped fighter who is flash but obviously dumb. If he didn't get hit he would have done alright and just fades and get ko later. If Kostya didn't land he would lose several more rounds.

 

people are sold on size and power way too much. Someone have to take the underdogs to make the lines bettable I guess.

 

don't just focus on the end and forget what happen regardless of how short the fight was. It was clear that Judah's speed and movement BOTHERED Kostya. He and his fan can blow up his legenary punch all you want and make it sound like Kostya was in complete control while getting tagged easily. Sounds stupid to me. Judah was clowning with his hands down and Kostya tagged him. End of story. Like Kostya is some kind of homing missle that will land eventually. like I said. Legendary punches like Oscar's left hook which he didn't even get a chance to land on floyd or hatton's famous body shot. Floyd got all of them beat in terms of sharp rights, left hooks and body work period.

ok so in which fighter has mayweather fought who was as agressive and powerfull and accurate and skillfull as prime kostya tszyu, I just cant see mayweather taking apart kostya with as such ease as you say mayweather doesnt like to exchange in the ring he is such a cautious fighter, Kostyas fighting style would actully be a concern for mayweather who at 140 fought a shabby Gatti, he is a great fighter mayweather at technique and skill but looking at his style its defensive untill he makes his opponents hurt in where kostyas is pressure, constant pressure his style seems so perfect to beat mayweather or at least cause him problems, it would remind me a bit of the margarito and cotto fight

 

PBF would have won by decision. After the Zab fight, PBF called out KT when he was at 130 and KT laughed it off. That PBF would have lost, but the PBF that built his body right to fight Gotti would have beaten KT. KT did have a way of catching fighters with that strange speed of his that fighters seem to think he does not have.

KT was never simply a power fighter. I'll agree that Floyd is a bright fighter, he'll make adjusts to adopt to his opponent. But you're saying KT doesn't do this?

Look at Sharmba Mitchell. Prior to that fight people were saying it would be close. And please don't write Mitchell off as being too punchy. People weren't saying that until after his fight with KT. No one thought it would be that much of a blowout.

Hell, look at their first ten opponents:

KT's opponents - 221 wins to 74 losses

PBF opponents - 78 wins to 55 losses.


KT wasn't simply a power guy. You don't start off your career fighting at that level only relying on power.

 

Vince Phillips and Hatton beat Kostya. One a prime Kostya and one comeback kostya. Enough said. I would say Hatton got his number even in prime. Hatton is one of the best pressure fighters in the game today. Kostya is a range fighter, he needs his space. He is durable but slow. Anyone who is smart and fast would beat Kostya. Oscar in Prime is better than Kostya. Even a 34 version of Oscar will beat a prime Kostya. Castillo's resume is better than Kostya and overall fighting skills but he is also slow and small. Jesus Chavez is a better presure fighter than Kostya. Hell Genardo Hendraz is probably a better boxer than Kostya but lacks pop. It is hard to say but Kostya is nothing special like a Floyd, roy jones, or joe calzaghe or chad dawson or even a cotto.

 

Floyd claim to want to fight Kostya for years but KT refused. Kostya is not stupid even he knows he will get schooled.

 

lets also make one thing clear. Floyd wanted Kostya for years and Kostya said no and chose Hatton a unproven fighter at the time. Taking the easier route and got upset it.

 

Kostya is not a shane mosely, Joad Guzman, Israel Vazquez, marquezs and pac. I will rate Kostya just below everyone I have mention except Jesus Chavez, and Henderaz.

 

i think this is a pretty easy fight for pretty boy.tszyu is too slow and predictable to really trouble floyd and i even think he could stop tszyu late.tszyu will end up eating to much leather he ends up busted up.

 

Can you Prove this garbage? KT wanted a De la Hoya fight not a mayweather fights evreybody was wanting a Cotto or Hatton fight first
