I am the bigest fan of Kostja, but I can't see him beating Mayweather.

Kostja fought Roger Mayweather, who has very same style Floyd has. Kostja didn't look good in there against the senior - the left hook could never find a mark.

Would be a close fight though.

Please! Zoo landed flush on Hatton and didn't stop him and PBF has a better chin than Hatton does.:deal

I couldn't agree more. People always underrate things like defense, footwork, stamina and ring genralship. Ask any fighter who's be in the ring with PBF and they will tell you that he's extremely hard to hit clean and Zoo would be no different. He would be waiting all night to land his money punch, just like Oscar did, meanwhile PBF would be winning rounds. Also betting on a KO against a fighter who has never been knocked down or really hurt in a fight is foolish. Zoo isn't going to outbox PBF and he isn't going to KO him either. So that leaves you with really only one choice and that's PBF by UD the safest bet in boxing.:deal

Floyd would be too elusive and win on points.

Zab always wins the first round. Tszyu had broken down Zab's style by the SECOND round and was OUT bOXING him in that round..when has a fighter got on top of Zab quicker? Zab was prime as hell then too...

Out of respect for mayweathers adaptability and record im gonna start him favourite but I give Tszyu a HUGE chance here.

140 division is not very deep as far as good to great fighters. Pryor, Chavez, and KT come to mind. Some have skipped the 140 like Duran, and some made quick exits like SweetPea. He was a strong, intelligent, and would at times come out with some quick burst of speed that others like Sharmba did not expect. Hatton got to him late so I don't believe Hatton would withstand those powers shots if KT was in his prime and that is what we are talking about, prime.

Your right, very good instead of great due to not fighting the best. Yet, who was there when he was reigning? Chavez was done. It is not his fault if there is no one to prove how good he was at 140.

Like most things the truth is probably somewhere in the middle...In this thread you have some idiots claiming Tszyu steamrolls Money like he did Judah..terrible comparison. But you also have guys saying a bloke who at his best was a 130 pounder dominating and stopping one of the best ever at a weight Mayweather really didnt set the world on fire. I dont see that happening either.

Floyd gives Kostya time, space and distance to time his shots and get comfortable but is just to slick and mobile for him to consistently land.
Kostya liked to fight guys like Floyd but I dont think he would have a pleasent time against someone as good as Mayweather.

Floyd respects him early on but runs away with it late to bag a pretty wide decision.

I dont see a stoppage to be honest. Floyd just wasnt that big a puncher(though it is something of his that gets a little overlooked), he had chronic hand problems throughout his career and he isnt busy or physical enough to wear down Tszyu like Hatton and Phillips did.

    Floyd wide UD.

Then how do you explain Kostya dominating him all throughout the second round? You don't know ****.
