**** this would be a damn good fight:nut it's 50-50 either way, if Morrison went toe to toe and tried to bar fight Tua, he would probaly be ko'd because he had the weaker chin, but if Morrison boxed Tua like he did Foreman he would probaly win on points, Morrison was 6-1 Tua is only 5-8 or so, and Morrison had the faster hands, i wouldn't bet on this if you gave me the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$...

Tua being evaded by Morrison a.la George Foreman for the early rounds picking up points then for Tua, to eventually start engaging with him and catching him to eventually force a stoppage by at least rounds five/six!!?

 

Tua wins by ko 3-6 rounds.

 

this is a great matchup

at first the only thing i could think of is how devastating tua is and how devastating mercer beat morrison.

but ammid the hype, morrison was a very talented fighter. a left hook to keep anyone honest that was still standing, very fast hands, very couragous.

i see morrison leading a fight up to 8th round by a large margin but tua is the ultimate late round ko artist.

i think tua in 8-10rounds

 

The durability factor would be key. Tua was wayyyyyy more durable than was Tommy Morrison. I think Tua could weather Morrison's punches a lot better than Morrison could Tua's. I can't see Morrison ever beating Tua. Tua by brutal, highlight reel KO......

 

Tua's all wrong for Tommy. Tua's all wrong for a lot of guys better than Tommy too.

Tommy would need to use the Foreman gameplan but you'd have to figure prime Tua, never a speedy mover, would still be quicker that ol' George.

I reckon Tua by mid-rounds KO whilst down on the cards.
