The Turpin that beat Ray Robinson ? That would be a tough tough fight for Marvin Hagler. I wouldn't like to pick a winner. it would be a great fight that's all i can say.
S,don't be too sure that Hagler beats a peak Randy Turpin. As posted before ,I sawTurpin cut, and give Ray Robinson hell for 10 rounds in 1951, their second fight..He was a strong and awkward puncher Randy was. In the 10th rd Ray Robinson, with a badly cut eye, and worried that the referee might stop the bout, unleashed a desperate attack on Randy who bravely took many murderous punches, until the ref stopped the bout. Before Turpin developed emotional problems, i believe that he would decision Hagler,as Randy did with Ray Robinson in their first bout in London.. Close bout I believe...
