  1. i did understand perfectly your point but...
bruno was not better than any version of foreman ,bruno was not better than briggs, who foreman did beat crearly, the old foreman 91 who fought holyfield would ko bruno hands down).like i said.... bruno had a glass chin, foreman had iron chin, if moorer could take the shots of foreman during several rounds, he might take the shots from bruno (who was not fast or explosive ) during all the fight , bruno was not even close to foreman in hitting power . do you understand the difference now?

    so yes, it is blasphemy

Blasphemy is too strong a word to use when matching up Moorer with a big puncher. His chin is not reliable enough.

Bruno has only lost to punchers:

    Tyson 2x
    Lewis
    Smith
    Witherspoon

with the exception of Smith, who by the way is a pretty big puncher, Not a bad group to pick up losses against.

Bruno was better than Briggs and he was better than Foreman in 1994.

  5. spoon was not a pretty good puncher, he was a decent boxer-puncher, end of the history.no ****ing way smith was a great puncher, average puncher and it is to say so much. mccall said that bert cooper and buster douglas were harder punchers than lewis, so lewis was not a top puncher. bruno was destroyed by 2 bad versions of tyson. in few words.. he lost against every decent fighter that he faced.
not, briggs was better than bruno, and foreman even in 1994 had better chin than bruno my a mile and he was much stronger and harder puncher. foreman was more durable and he had great experience, bruno was a young bum, simple.

If Cus D'Amato lived to see Tyson's reign, Holyfield doesn't make it out of the 10th round before being stopped IMO. Why? Cus would have kept Tyson mentally tougher and he wouldn't have been as easily frustrated. Younger, primer Tyson also moved his head a lot more and used both hands better. Tyson tried to use the intimidation game against Holyfield believing that fear would make the fight easier with a scared Holyfield. Still, Tyson won more than just a couple rounds against Holyfield the first time. Some say it was a one-sided counterpunching exhibition by Holyfield, but I disagree.

Tyson needed to be mentally tougher against Holyfield and he wasn't. He just fed off the image of media and public labelling him as an animal. D'Amato wouldn't have allowed the publicity stunt he pulled before the Lewis fight. Tyson would have been more respectful and fearful of his opponents strengths.
