I honestly would not know who to bet on this tbh.
I just dont see this as some blowout either way.

As pointed out Tyson is incredibly lazy in a clinch which would work in Wlads favour.
Wlad also has plenty of power to keep anyone honest.

That said prime Tyson is a special fighter and its entirely possible he could bob and weave through Wlads offense and land something huge before he gets tiedup within the first 3 or 4 rounds.

The leaning though in combination with Wlads offense and the amount of energy Tyson would have to burn to get Wlad out of there would be huge and after 4 i am fairly convinced he gets broken down and stopped in the next 4 to 6.

I'm with Zakman on this, its a intrigueing fight and a good clash of styles.

I do find it amusing that some of the tards above keep comparing pre prime Wlad but god forbid anyone mentions post prime Tyson.
Talk about being a blatent hypocrit.

    :lol::lol:

We don't often agree, but whilst I think Tyson is likely to get to Wlad at some point and stop him, you cannot dismiss Wlad's chances like that.

Remember, Wlad is the bigger stronger man, with the physical advantages. He is 6 ft 7 and 245 pounds, but at the same time he has fast hands, footspeed and he moves very well for a man his size. Tyson has to close the distance, and Wlad has perfected the art of tying his man up. Tyson wants to get to the mid-range, where he likes to throw his punches from, and that's easier said than done against Wlad. Wlad's main flaw is that he's not comfortable fighting on the backfoot, and I think you have to in order to beat Tyson.

If Wlad can survive to and beyond the 6th round, he can take control of this fight

By the way, dinovelvet thinks Tyson was an inside fighter, which tells you all he knows

Produce the proof where i said Tyson was an inside fighter? I was happy when you said you wouldn't respond to my posts anymore because you thought im some alt, but you couldn't honour that promise to yourself could you?

Patterson was the lineal champion earlier in his life than Mike Tyson...

And even if he only needed to unify 1, he did it faster than Tyson.

Tyson got a belt faster, Patterson unified and was the lineal faster.

    You can not 'unify 1'

Unify means to join togther or tonight

    Multiple belts = Unification

    1 belt = no unification

Come on, this is simple it doesn't need explaining

Tyson was a mid range fighter, once inside he would allow himself to be tied up and he would throw elbows. His game was about closing distance, but not getting inside, just getting in punching range, I'm sure you understand the difference

    You're an alt of Popkins/kitikasem.

I'll ask you again , where did I state he was inside fighter? Getting in close is excatly what he did. How did connect his famous uppercuts and body shots with a 71" reach from mid range. Think before you type you authentic fool.

And if i was popkins why would i hide myself from a lowlife gutter snipe like you? Go to the mods, but you wont because you know they will prove you wrong.

What Tyson fans really mean is if Mike didn't get prime 2011 Wlad out if there early on they know for sure he is going to be pummelled. Compare Osaka Douglas to prime Wlad. Wlad has way more in his locker: single shot knock out power in the right hand and let hook, heavier jab, much harder to hit. In summation, even a focused Osaka Tyson would be up against it vs prime Wlad, unless he got lucky and managed to do what southpaw Sanders did with the pre Manny 03 version. Very unlikely imo.

You understand the difference between range to punch - mid range

And pressing against your opponent - the inside

You said Tyson's game was about getting inside

haha you definitely are popkins/kitikasem, you're type out the same boring, inane rubbish laced with childish insults  I don't need to go to the mods, you may be on a different IP address, but it's definitely you. Why else would you go to the efforts of bumping his threads and showering him with praise for no apparent reason. Look at how sensitive you got when I accused you of being him

Tyson's subpar performances were mainly against large, skilled heavyweights. Thats kind of the point when trying to guess who would be favored, is it not?

Which one of the guys in these gifs did Mike KO in 1? Who is the biggest, best heavyweight Mike did actually KO in 1? Isnt it at least a little amusing that in the first one, the sparring partner doesnt even flinch or back up? In the second one, Mike needed 6 rounds to get a DQ over a guy who had just been TKO'd by Carl Williams. And the last one...why would you use that as an example!?! Mike couldnt KO a guy who was 6'1, 212 lbs on fight night and already had 8 loses on his record! Thats your evidence that Mike would blast out Wlad in one round! Are you being serious, or are you making fun of the "Tyson cult" with this? Come on, be honest...

What is pathetic? If you are referring to every single Tyson performance against a heavyweight anywhere near Wladimir's size, then I would have to agree. I am sorry you've been schooled so thoroughly. It must be quite embarrassing. Go back and study for a few weeks, then come back and try again.
